One of Those Days
This song was inspired by the loss of our mother, Bonnie, to cancer (you can read a bit about that in the “About” section of this website). Although it is about a person who is terminally ill with cancer, it is very much a song about living. She lived every day to its fullest, right to the very end; that’s the message of this song. We have been fortunate enough to play this song for thousands of cancer survivors and supporters at various American Cancer Society functions. Each time, it never fails to illicit a great response. We’ve had countless survivors tell us that it perfectly captures the emotions and experiences they encountered during their struggle. We have been so inspired by the people this song has touched that we are writing a book to go along with it. Please stay tuned; we think you’ll want to read it.
One night I looked up mulitple Myeloma online and found out about the Tour4Cure and immediately became interested. When I realized that Eric and Chris lost their mom and were inspired to write this song, I was blown away. At the time it was almost a year that I had lost my sister to Multiple Myeloma and her two boys are Eric and Chris. I came to Manhattan to see you guys and I was so moved by such incredible men. If you ever come to perform in NY let me know.
