Swair Flight 500 ROCKS!
The Readings played an impromptu 2+ hour concert at Chicago’s Midway Airport today. An enthusiastic Flight 500 crowd, grounded by a weather delay, was treated to a little Nashville flavor as the boys broke out the guitars and rocked out 20+ songs, originals and covers, and nearly sold out of the CD stash they carried back from their PA gig yesterday. Bono was in the building…so the band finished with their own version of Running To Stand Still. The Readings thank their new friends from #500…you guys Rock! And esp. the Sea W&C girls from Huntsville! For asking us to play in the first place!!!
